Troop 687’s Weekly Scouter
This past meeting was basically to brief and prepare everyone for Woodruff. We went over basic equipment you will need for the ONE WEEK OF FUN. Then we did our patrol corners. Due to confusion in the E-Mail and call system we have established, some things did not go according to plans.
Announcements:
2.USS Yorktown is the next outing after Woodruff
3.Patrol leaders if you want me to print you off more than one copy of the meeting plan contact me this goes for SPL, ASPL, PL, And ALL the Scoutmasters.
4.I urge all of you to send me anything you want the whole troop to know
5.Bring camping ideas to the next meeting not Tanner, Clinton farms, The Rock, McIntosh, Sweetwater RV Park, and Paulding Meadows think fun and a little further away than these places.
6.Cemetery clean up this week is: Brandon T. and Craig H.
Next week we will be having a TLC (Troop Leaders Council) that means all are invited to the meeting to help make decisions for the Troop like places to go and what we want to do at the meetings and how we can improve on our other things we do and also like setting dates for things like JLT (Junior Leader Training) etc.
What is the difference between a TLC and a PLC? TLC is where everybody in the troop can help make changes and give their personal input on what they want to do as a troop; PLC is where only Patrol Leaders, Scribe, SPL, ASPL and other invited peopled with positions come and make represented decisions for each patrol.
I am starting something from this point forward I will add a point of the scout law and tell its real definition
Trustworthy-deserving of trust or confidence; dependable; reliable
The weekly Scouter is on the website always it will be in this format and only will it be posted on Thursday
